Refund Policy

1. Scope

This policy describes refunds for credit purchases on HiringManager.in. Candidates do not pay for the platform, so this policy does not apply to candidate accounts.

2. Credits

Credits are sold in packages and used to publish job listings. By purchasing credits, you acknowledge that:

• Credits are non-refundable once your payment is confirmed by Razorpay, except where this policy explicitly allows.
• Credits do not expire while your account is active and in good standing.
• Credits are non-transferable between accounts.
• Unused credits at the time of account closure are not refunded.

3. Posted listings

The moment a job listing is published, one credit is consumed and the listing is live. After publication:

• You have a 24-hour edit window to revise any field of the listing.
• After the 24-hour window, the listing is locked and can only be deleted.
• Deleting a listing — at any time, for any reason — does not refund the consumed credit.
• Listings are automatically archived 45 days after publication. Archiving does not refund the credit.

We do not refund credits because:

• The listing did not receive applications.
• The applicants were not suitable.
• You decided not to fill the position.
• The position was filled before the listing expired.
• You changed your mind about the role.

4. When we do refund

Duplicate charges

If your payment processor charged you more than once for the same transaction, we will refund the duplicate amount in full within 7 business days of confirming the duplicate.

Technical errors

If credits were debited from your account but no payment was received by us, or if a payment was completed but credits were not added to your account, contact us within 48 hours. We will investigate and either credit your account or process a refund.

Verified fraud

If a payment was made on your account without your authorisation and you report it within 30 days of the transaction, we will investigate jointly with Razorpay. Confirmed fraud is fully refunded.

Failed verification

If you purchased credits before completing recruiter verification and your application is subsequently rejected by our team, all unused credits will be refunded in full.

5. How to request a refund

Email refunds@hiringmanager.in from the email address registered on your account, with:

• Your account email and registered company name.
• Razorpay transaction ID (visible in the payment receipt and your account billing history).
• Reason for the refund request and any supporting screenshots.

6. Processing timeline

• We acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days.
• Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days of approval.
• Once processed, refunds typically appear on the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

All refunds are issued to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different account, card, or UPI ID.

7. Disputes

If a refund request is declined and you disagree, you may appeal in writing to grievance@hiringmanager.in. We will issue a final decision within 14 days. Beyond that, the dispute is governed by these Terms.
